Please follow these instructions for configuring your Windows Live email client to work with your hands on email account.
These screenshots were taken in windows 7 in Windows Live Mail Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3538.0513), but should be the same for all Windows Live Mail versions.
After opening Windows Live Mail, select the Accounts tab at the top of the application as shown.
Then click on the @+ Email Icon and you are presented with the first setup screen.
Please fill out the information accordingly and click the next button to continue.
This is the final configuration screen in windows live mail, please make sure to duplicate all settings shown here and replace s0000.handsonwebhosting.com with your server's hostname which can be found in the client area under Services - My Services - View Details - Hostname / Mail Server (note that this applies only to Standard/E-Commerce Web Hosting accounts)
You can choose to configure your email as either POP3 (port 995) or IMAP (port 993) but IMAP is highly recommended especially if you are checking this email account on more than one PC/Phone/Device as it will keep the messages centrally stored on the server for easier email management.
Once you click next, windows live mail should finish configuring your email account and bring you to the Home screen.
