What is the path to GnuPG?

PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) is a computer program used for the encryption, decryption, and signing of data. It was created by Philip Zimmermann in the early 1990's.  Total Server Solutions, along with many other hosting companys, no longer use PGP and instead choose to use the freely available OpenPGP compliant program called GNU Privacy Guard (GnuPG or GPG).  This software is available through the GNU General Public License (GPL).

The actual location of the GnuPG program is usually in the system folder /usr/bin/gpg

Once you have setup your PGP Keys inside of cPanel it should show you the path.

Along with the system files directory, you may also need the USER or DATA directory:
/home/username/.gnupg

You will need to replace the "username" section in the above path with your actual cPanel username.

If you have further questions regarding the use of GnuPG, please open a support ticket.
